A downloadable game for Windows

Deep in the heart of the dense, ancient forest just outside the town of Zugarramurdi, a mysterious woman earns her daily bread providing unorthodox services to the locals. Known to some as “the Catfish Witch” who preys on the misfortunes of others, she considers herself more of an alchemist, a businesswoman with the ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. With enough gold in her pocket, it’s about time she took a well-deserved vacation.

Now, with your aunt away, the responsibility of keeping her alchemical enterprise afloat falls to you. Armed with her ancient recipe book and a strange device from the future – something your aunt calls the "Cat Whisperer" – you must navigate the delicate art of alchemy. Alongside you is Whitings, your aunts ever-watchful sassy cat, loyal companion and professional shelf-climber.

Maintain the business, keep the customers satisfied, and most importantly, avoid starving. In the mystical world of alchemy, where the line between science and magic blurs, every day brings a new challenge. Will you be able to uphold your aunt's legacy and maybe even carve out your own name in the annals of Zugarramurdi's history?

Love the idea and the little story behind the game and how it translates into the gameplay. Jumping takes some time to get used but I think that's just a good way to add some difficulty to the game while it keeps the controls just to the "laser". Otherwise the controls were fun and intuitive (could be also a lot of fun on a touch screen). The music and sound effects are nice nothing feels out of the place. The background music is unobtrusive and didn't make me go insane even after few loops. And of course the art, love the color choices (the main menu background is chef's kiss) and the animations for Whitings are great even though the little fella is moonwalking most of the time :D. The controls part of the menu has my seal of approval, definitely something I would do. Anyway it was fun to play and I would definitelly like to brew a few more pawtions, I see a lot of potential for more levels.
